    You look great.

I would like to point out once thing to you about your goals though. Other then when starting out, you will have a lot of difficulty trying to build muscle as you lose fat. The most efficient way of doing this is by doing it in cycles. Do a build cycle where you eat above maintenance cals while doing heavy weights and eating a lot of protein. This will lead to weight gain, mostly muscle, some fat. Then once you add enough mass go to a cut cycle, this is when you eat at a deficit, lift heavy and get plenty of protein, so you maintain lean mass as you lose fat.

A typical diet and exercise regimen will have you lose fat and muscle as you lose weight, other then when you are new to lifting or returning after a long lay off you will lose muscle in a caloric deficit.

cheers mate, thats exactly what i have been doing :-) on cut for the next 4-6 weeks then lean bulking untill february 2013, hoping to make some good gains then which will make me looker better for 2013 summer :-) when i lose the fat again lol. currently gained 9kg of muscle and around 25kg less fat between now and the begining.

Good work. It's always satisfying to see and feel results. I need to get back to where I was 18 months ago and see my lovely biceps veins again! :-)

gse mate its starts today! the very next available chance you get ( and a true chance) do what is needed. impulse buy some weights, pop down to the local gym. the first step is starting the next step is continuing. i have been at it for 13 out of the last 15 months, 1 month of around xmas 2011 and 1 month of in february 2012 on holiday. 3 days after i returned from holiday i was back at the gym, 2 months later i am the same weight and have 2kg less fat and 1.5kg more mass. changed from 14.1% at 89kg to currently around 12% at 88.4kg.

currently my aim is to drop my bodyfat down to sub 10% hoping over the next 3-6 weeks i can achieve this. unfortunately my 10% previously looked closer to other 12% which sucks but its all genetic. i lose fat everywhere but since i have a massive torso it hangs around there the most. spent alot of time doing deadlifts, squats and all the compound motions to try and build my core up and i think it has worked quite well. i have measurements of myself at different weights as i dropped it all off and compare it to my weight currently. so i can tell what my waist was at this weight previously

    to current

and if i compare these pics to these pics where iw as 82kg which is 6kg lighter then i am now.
    xroguexkevinx-albums-slimmest-ever-picture66020-front-82kg.jpg
    xroguexkevinx-albums-slimmest-ever-picture66019-angled-82kg.jpg
    xroguexkevinx-albums-slimmest-ever-picture66017-shoulders-82kg.jpg

so this is how i check my progress and how i stay motivated. i mean if i am 6kg heavier and yet not that much fatter certainly not 6kg i have 2kg more fat between the two photos.

i also have regular bodyfat tests to get a rough idea of my progression. using calipers and the same personal trainer so hopefully most variables stay the same.
