Two: 6 year old girl, 1 year old boy. Was a tough call to decide to have the second but he is such a different person, the experience has been 1000% better than raising the girl. Love them but don't always like them much!

I have 6, 2 girls, 4 boys. No more thanks, I was sterilised after my last was born. I get broody looking at other peoples babies, but then reality slaps me, sleepless nights, puke, poo, and then they start growing up!! Looking forward to grandkids, they go home at the end of the day.

That is the way to do it!! I'm requesting my partner get a vasectomy (only because it's less invasive, more easily reversible should we decide we want another child, and hell, I birthed the babies, it's the least he can do) once we're done having children.

At least you know what you want. No one should be judged for that

I have 2 1/2 year old boy/girl twins. I always wanted one child, but was blessed with two. They are by far the greatest thing in my world...while also being the hardest. :)
  • None yet but trying

I don't have a cap but the hubs doesn't want more than 3. I mostly want a boy/girl twin set and dress em up in evening wear everyday. Tiny tux and itty bitty ball gowns.

Apparently, no one else feels this way, but here goes. 0 and no. I'll probably get some crap for this, but I'm used to it.

Why should you get crap for it? Much better to just be honest and true to yourself from the get-go. I would much rather people who don't want kids just be honest about it and not have them, than have unwanted children. For some, they are perfectly happy once the little one(s) arrives. But for others, it is painfully obvious to everyone, including their children, that they were never wanted. Some are simply neglected, others abused.... Not saying you would do either. Only that there are enough unwanted children in the world w/o anyone who's made that decision being pressured or bullied for being responsible enough not to create any more. I have five kids, and would love more if space/money permitted. My sisters have both decided not to have any. No one questions their decision, but my sanity is apparently a different story altogether.... ;)

I have zero... My uterus closed shop when I was 17...

Kids are great and I do like them...when I can send them home to their parents after I am done.

I also only like them when they are between the ages of 3months - 6 months.... 3 - 6 years and not again until they are 18.... unless its my niece.. and she acts like an adult more than a kid... and I can send her home when we are done lol

None for me, so far. We're getting married next year, then having one year when we just focus on being selfish and having fun, then we'll start trying. I want at least one, no maximum limit until I've started a family and seen what I think I can handle.

1 boy (5) and 1 girl (4) ...they are 18 months apart. the 5 year old will be 6 in October. I am on the fence of wanting more. some days I do and others I don't. It's enough for me to balance out my kids and working out as it is. Plus, having kids is what got me on this site in the first place!

My husband and I have 5, 1 girl age 7 and 4 boys ages 5, 4, 2, and 6 months. We are talking about trying for one more girl! So, we will probably end up with 6.

    3.
And no, we're done. Had I married a man younger than I did I might have done 2 sets of 2 spaced like 5 years apart.

That's what my Mum did

I've got a 6 year-old boy, & no, one is more than enough

No crap ickybella!! You are SMART! Smart people only have 1 kid. REAL smart people don't have ANY!!
Kids cost money, make messes, and break things. That about covers it. (I have 2 TOO many!)

I have a 13 yr old daughter named Catey that is absolutely wonderful. I have a 10 yr old son named TC that is amazing. I had my baby carriage removed and my play ground left behind when I was 23 yrs old. I am 33 years old now and would give anything to have another one... BUT in a lot of ways I am SO thankful I can't! I LOVE babies and children. But once you get out of the diapers and bottles and all of that, you kind of like the fact that you can sleep through the night and late in the morning on weekends. You kinda get used to the fact that you can eat a full meal without wiping someone's butt. You kinda enjoy the fact that you can arrive at work without spit up on your shoulder. LOL Don't let this discourage you. I wouldn't take any of that back for all the gold in China. In fact, I would go back a million times to do it over and over again with the two I have. When they are that small, everything is so rushed... so compact you find yourself living in the moment and not enjoying the broad picture... sometimes not able to enjoy it. I am thankful that I have grow with my children and know now how to step back and take it all in. Some people never learn that.

Ramble Ramble... :) Good luck to you and your future babies!!

We have 4 (3 girls and a boy). We had wanted 5 or 6, but I feel like we're currently at our limit, financially and emotionally. Plus, I've had 3 c/s now and had some BP problems with the last pregnancy (and we've had two losses) so I don't want to push it physically. I love big families but it just might not be in the cards for us.

Glad to see that someone is a PROUD MAMA, and not complaining about the messes kids make, or how expensive kids are...Maybe those people who are complaining should have thought before having kids!!

For those that don't have any or want any...There's nothing wrong with that, kids aren't for everyone. I have some amazing friends to have 5 furbabies and don't want any kids. Again nothing wrong with that...
