How often do you weigh yourself?

eh it's not counter productive per say. I wouldn't log it everyday.
I also weigh my self every morning after I use the restroom. But I only log on Fridays. Even If I'm down 2lbs on Wednesday, I wait.
I probably shouldn't be so concerned with the scale, and yes it can go up and down, but I like to know where I'm at every morning.0 -
Weekends on Sunday morning unless the weekend promises to be a little off plan then Saturday so I have an extra day to correct before the next weeks weigh-in. There was a monday once but that's because I forgot to weigh in on a sunday.0

I weigh myself every week and take measurements. I would get too worried about my weight fluctuating!0

I fluctuate 3-5 lbs everyday depending on the time of day, so I weigh once a week in the morning as I wake up.0

monday morning after i potty... stark naked... for a while i was doing it every day but i felt I was becoming obsessed0

I weigh myself the first of every month. That way I don't get discouraged by daily fluctuations. I work hard and focus on non-scale victories. Then when I get on the scale at the beginning of the month, I'm usually really impressed with myself!0

I weigh every morning before having anything to eat. Sometimes at night too. I also like to use the progress report on MFP as I can look at one week, one or three month progress. On a day to day basis progress can seem slow, but the reports show me that I am right on track w/.5 lb weight loss since starting in Feb.0

I weight first thing every morning and keep track of it along with my calories, exercise, etc and don't freak about with fluctuations and just see what yesterday was.

i measure 2 x's a month0 -
i try not to weigh every day so do it maybe once a week , i dread it going up it sends me into depression. i know ive worked at my diet and it is normal to go up and down but it still scares me.0

I weigh myself at least once a day, but I record it only once a week every Monday morning. I know my weight fluctuates but I am addicted to the scale.0

I used to like never, with an attitude out of sight out of mind.
Now that I'm on my wt loss journey, every morning. I sometimes do at night, but tell myself not to freak out because I gain 2-3 lbs during a day, then go back the next morning. I'm obsessed with it now, I love seeing my weight melt off and keeping myself accountable. I plan on daily for life so I never ignore what I need to do again....0 -
Daily so that I can evaluate trends. When it seemed I wasn't making progress, I started tracking daily and it shows a downward trend overall, which is very encouraging. When I was weighing weekly on the same day each week, sometimes it just happened to be my TOM or water weight from a heavy workout or too much sodium. And those dips or gains would give false highs/lows. To do trending, gives an overall sense of my weight loss plan and it's going down, down, down. The Hacker's Diet tool is great for measuring trends.0

Well, I just got a scale last week so I think I will do it once a week because I do get very discouraged.0

I get up in the morning, pee, then weigh and log the numbers. Exactly the same routine every morning. For me consistency is everything. If I wait to weigh until after my shower or after breakfast and coffee, I'll fluxuate more.0

Daily.
I don't worry so much about the fluctuations but I like to see where the week is trending. It keeps me in check.0 -
I like the idea that if I continue to weigh every day I track it and I also measure on a weekly basis. Thank you all for your wonderful input. I love having a community to go to, I really appreciate all of you being there. Also anyone who feels so inclined, feel free to add me0
