I don't know much about protein powders. Are there any that are gluten and dairy free?

I use Jay Robb egg white protein and it is both Gluten and Dairy free :)

i'm getting the ingredients tomorrow. Already bought a new, never out of the box ice cream maker on Ebay...$3.04 but the shipping was $12.00...still a good buy. Can't wait to try some of the recipies.

I noticed that the same ice cream maker she uses is on sale this week at The Christmas Tree Shops for $39.99 for those people that have one near them. That is the ice cream maker I think I will be buying for myself.

Can you please tell me what is used to sweeten the protein powder? Sucrose is like DDT to my lungs so I try to stay away from it. This is why I am asking. Thanks for sharing.

This looks great. I'm going to have to try it myself. I usually make "ice cream" from frozen bananas and that is pretty tasty as well.

i just made this tonight and it was delicious! So delicious that i had to beat the rest of the family off with a stick so i could scarf it down!
    I used

1 c unsweetened almond coconut milk
2 scoops Precision Engineered vanilla Whey Protein Isolate
1 T Da Vinci coconut SF syrup
    1 T almond butter
    1/2 t almond extract

    2 servings
    each serving 153 calories 3 carb 2 fat 31 protein 2 fiber

Next time, I'll use chocolate protein powder - should taste like an Almond Joy
