A bicycle build for big men

One of my favorite forms of exercise has always been bike riding. The problem now is no one seems to make a bike rated for 350-400 lb people. Does anyone have a suggestion? Should I just wait until I lose more weight? Anything that I have found close is $400+ and I am on a tight budget.

Mountain bikes are the sturdiest. Get a 29er if you can. Hardtail.0

If you're in it for the exercise, this should be really easy. Older mountain bikes were usually built really, REALLY rugged with a welded steel frame. People usually sell them off really cheap or give them away. Your local bike shop can swap out any parts that are bad and get it working for you.
You won't break any speed records, but you'll break a sweat, and it'll probably be cheaper than a stationary bike.0 -
