I been entering food in myfitnesspal for only a few days-still in the learning curve. Yesterday I wanted to select a food from the previous day. When I clicked on the tab My Meals it gave me the following message:

You have not saved any meals yet.

TIP: Clicking the "Remember meal" link in your diary will allow you to store a grouping of foods as a meal. You'll then be able to add all of the foods in your meal as once to your diary. Meals that you create will appear in this list for easy access.

I don't understand the message: aren't the entries I make saved automatically? when I log out and return, the entries are still there.
Where is the "Remember meal" link?

Thanks

Underneath Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner etc. click "Quick Tools" and then you will see Remember meal.

So if you go back to yesterday's diary and click 'quick tools' and 'remember meal', it will save into the "My Meals" section of the food diary. Now go back to Today's diary, click "Add food" click "My Meals" and then it should appear there and you can add the same meal to any day now.

You may want the "recent" tab (Add Food, Recent), or you may want to "copy from date" (Quick Tools, Copy Yesterday or Copy from Date).

Use My Meals when you have the same meal over and over again.

One more tip that hasn't been covered yet: when you go to "Add Food" and then are on the "Recent" or "Most Used" tab, click where it says, "Or, add your favorites for:" and you can select "All Meals." Then it's not just foods you've eaten for that particular meal, really helpful if you're like me and don't differentiate what you eat by the time of day.

Yeah, that one took me a while to figure out. I often eat leftover supper for breakfast or lunch, and was frustrated that only recently eaten breakfasts showed up under recent.
