Ugh, I announced my least favorite word in the world to my husband earlier this week but now I can't remember it off hand. it's some word I've always hated. Frustrating!

I'm not a fan of the word blouse either but wouldn't go so far as to say I hate it. I hate "situation" but just because my boss over uses it and incorrectly uses it all the time.

Also, its organ (for Oregon) not Or-ee-gone

That is completely dependent on if you're talking about a city or state.

Its pronounced organ for the state of Oregon
In Wisconsin, we pronounced Oreg-aah-n for the city Oregon, Wisconsin

    Pretend words:
    IE: Supposably
    expesially
    and so on.

    I hate the C word.
And most of all, I hate any kind of curse word.
  • Creamy. Chunky. Moist.

Moist - the use of that word in ANY context makes me shudder.

^ THIS!!! I hate that word. And the C word as well, which is difficult as I work with 500 builders so I hear it umpteen times a day! I cringe every time :(

CURVY when referring to overweight people. Rolls of fat are by no means curvy.

And also the BS as in "don't believe it, its just BS". I don't really get it

Oh wow is this going to be kind of a long list lol...

Improper use of Their, There, and They're.
Improper use of Your and You're.
Chat speak such as plz, sup, u, r, etc.
    Boi (spell words right, people!).
Curvy (in reference to body shape).
    Fat
    Crazy
Gay (when used out of context, such as this is so gay, when clearly you mean it's stupid).
Spelling the word tomorrow as "tomarrow" drives me crazy!
Dunno (not so much as using it, but as an answer to a question its annoying).
Certificate (because I cannot pronounce it correctly...I always end up saying cer-tick-a-flate).
...I could probably go on, but I'm tired.

I really can't stand the word AMAZEBALLS! In fact even thinking about it makes me cross!

So you wouldn't visit the beautician near me called "Moisteane"?
Creeps me out every time I walk past!

Other things that I hate are not so much words as phrases - I'm particularly annoyed by the frequent use of
"where my xxxxx-ers at". Maybe it's incredibly in vogue where you live, but it doesn't work for me, just makes you look REALLY uneducated. And saying this probably makes me look REALLY old or uncool!

It seems that the word "moist" wins. As a nurse, it's necessary to chart this word regularly along with other words that I imagine are not very popular either. :))
One that bothers me is when someone uses "whenever" in a sentence such as "I used to ride horses whenever I lived in Texas".
    :)

    tubby
    stubby

That is a list not a description.

You clearly haven't met my hubby!

    Bazinga!

    But...but....its the mighty Sheldon's word!!

I hate babe/hun/dear, coolio, cool beans, "hmmmm....interesting" (the I.T manager at work constantly comes out with this and its a bit irritating), basically (again, another man at work who really over-uses this), bubba - I'm sure there is others, but I can't think of them at the moment
