Not my first picnic

Hello MFP family. I have been a member for about three days now and I love it so far. I've been trying to get a hold of my weight since I had my last child about 11 months ago and it hasn't been easy. I started out trying weight watchers, which I had some results but they where very slow and the program just isn't cost effective for me right now. So I went into a slump for a few weeks and gave up on exercise and eating right. The thing that changed my mind again was a pair of jean shorts hanging in my closet. I've walked past those shorts a million times but something about this day was different. I thought about the fact that I was in those shorts just a little over a year ago. I gained a lot of weight when I had my second child and it has seemed so difficult to get back on track and lose it.
While searching through my Google play market on my phone I found MFP and when I saw it was setup so much like Weight Watchers but FREE I knew this was my second chance with no excuses to do it and do it right. For the last three days I have been logging my foods and exercising at least 30 minutes a day. My first goal is small so that I don't get overwhelmed, I want to drop 15lbs in 60 days. My ultimate goal is 100lbs in 1 year. I'm excited this time and motivated and with a 1lb weight loss already, I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!
