What do YOU do with your protein powder?

My favorite way to have it is to mix it with lo-cal chocolate milk, peanut butter and a banana.
Its pretty filling and tastes soooo good, but a little high on the calorie side. That's why I only have it after a weight workout. To give my muscle what they need after a heavy weight workout.
Otherwise, I mix it with skim milk or skim milk and fruit.
I tried it in Oatmeal and greek yourgart but didn't like it.
I've tried it in protein bars (made by someone else) and they were tasty.0 -
Mix it with yogurt and skim milk0

has some shake ideas, I made the cake batter one today and thought it was pretty good.0 -
We use it to make pancakes: 1 cup oats, 1 scoop powder, some cinnamon, and enough water to get it to pancake batter consistency - blend it all up and then cook it just like pancakes.
And since we buy pea protein (which doesn't go all that well in fruit smoothies anyway), I've been experimenting with adding it to soups and last night I even mixed it in with some pizza sauce to give my home made whole wheat pizza some extra protein.0 -

^these (replace the coconut flakes with protein powder -or any dry ingredient, such as nuts or seeds- and either add the flaxseed or, if you're like me and never have that ingredient, replace it with more oats)0 -

I guess i'm wierd i like it mixed with water ...........
I use the "NOW whey protien isolate dutch choclate" tastes good to me.0 -
Have mixed it with pasteurized egg white, lol, but that doesn't help you, it was an effort not to do so many powders and be more natural, so it may be an option, ie, go for pasteurized egg whites instead but you would still prob need to hide the flavor, they are a bit yuki.
I have also added the chocolate flavored protein to oats in a morning, it was ok, but I find a straight protein drink the easiest.
If you really wanna make a fruit smoothie and use your powder that way, that is real nice, but well calories...
I mix mine with water not milk.0 -
You could do many things with it, you can look it up online0

First find a protein powder you like the flavor of but here's my fave recipe. Choc Shakeology, half water, half skim milk, half a banana, tbsp greek yogurt blended, add an oz of sliced almonds and pour into popsickle trays and freeze. Its a delish, healthy and low cal frozen treat. You can also subsitute soy or coconut milk.0

Try jamie eason's chocolate protein bars: http://www.eatcleandiet.com/the_kitchen_table/recipe/recipe.aspx?id=570
I usually add Greek yogurt to the mix (more protein) and spread some peanut butter on top (healthy fats) before eating them yummers!!0 -
Myself, well I mix it with almond milk, ice, Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder, and some instant coffee granules. Protein mocha frappucino!0

Seems like a lot of you partied a little to hard in the 80's. Just can't shake the snorting habit, can ya? I personally like to take my whey as a straight shot. The tears, choking and gasping lets me know it's working.0
