reporting back..lol I tried chia seeds for the first time today a tablespoon with a yogurt, it didnt add any flavor but a nice crunch!
And I did some math ..1 tablespoon of seeds has 2.283 grams of omega 3..more than twice daily recomendation for women over 14 yrs of age. I am hoping my good cholesterol rocks when I get it tested in a few months.0 -

I LOVE chia seeds. Have been using them for a few weeks now... I use them first thing in the morning and have noticed I stay full for MUCH longer! (My husband says I'm a crazy person, but I swear they really do!) I sprinkle them on top of peanut butter on toast, throw them in spinach/fruit/coconut milk smoothies, or stir them in yogurt!0

I eat a bagel thin with cream cheese and I sprinkle the seeds on it, it tastes great!0

I have 3 tablespoons in my cereal every morning, and boy, do they ever curb my appetite for the rest of the day!!!!! I still eat, but sometimes I feel so full that I eat a much smaller portion of food at supper time! You really have to drink lots of water when you take the seeds, they will swell up! I've been taking them every day since the beginning of March and I've lost 21lbs to date!!! I really thank the chia seeds for this! I LOVE THEM!!!!0

Here's another site that's got Chia Seed recipes here's the pudding recipe:
Chocolate Chia Pudding Parfaits
Makes 2 servings. Inspired by Food Doodles and Oh She Glows.
■1 cup milk
■1/4 cup chia seeds
■1/4 cup pure maple syrup
■1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
■2 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
■1 ½ cups frozen banana slices (about 1 ½ ripe bananas)
■1/3 cup milk plus more if needed to blend
■2/3 cup chopped strawberries
Prepare the pudding ahead of time by combining 1 cup milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Sift in the cocoa powder to remove any clumps, then whisk vigorously until all of the ingredients are incorporated (the cocoa powder is sometimes stubborn during this step, but I find tilting the bowl to the side helps the liquid absorb it more quickly). Place the chocolate chia pudding mixture in a lidded container and refrigerate at least two hours or overnight to thicken.
Prior to serving, blend the frozen banana slices and 1/3 cup of milk together in a high-powered blender, adding more milk, a tablespoon at a time, as needed to blend. (You may, as an alternative, use a food processor to make a banana puree. In this instance, the milk may not be necessary at all.)
To serve, place the chocolate chia pudding, banana puree, and strawberries in 2 tall glasses or jars in alternating layers. Garnish with a strawberry on top if you want it to be fancy schmancy.0 -
I always pre soak them, as they can make me gassy if I don't....also that way I know I'm drinking enough water with them. Pudding is my favorite, made with coconut milk and vanilla, sweetened with stevia, REALLY rich if further thickened with cashew or another nut butter, then cacao nibs sprinkled on top... I also LOVE the synergy raspberry chia kombucha (but mixing them with your own fruit juice is cheaper!). They keep the bowels working like clockwork too! Viva la chia!0

I came across a Chia Seed Pudding recipe recently that I've added cocoa, protein powder and eggs to and am eating for breakfast 4 days a week - I've also experimented with switching the coconut oil for avocado, use madadamia nuts instead of almonds and this week tried coconut milk instead of almond milk.0

use them in place of eggs in recipes. I made brownies out of them today0

I like to make chia seed chocolate pudding and the recipe is;
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup milk
A few drops of stevia or any sweetener of your choice.
Mix all these ingredients up well and let it rest for 10-20 minutes and then enjoy.0 -
