Neighbor just gave us a ton of blackberries and I was wondering if anyone had any yummy healthy ideas for them ... I usually make cobbler but when I logged in the ingrediants the calories were so HIGH! Not sure how it would turn out with splenda instead of sugar?? THANKS!

    Plain...sooooo addictive!!

I also mix them with ricotta cheese and a dash of cinnamon as dessert!

Or put them in a smoothie! :)

I mix them with plain greek yogurt and freeze for 30 minutes. A treat after dinner when the kiddos go to bed!

I like personally like them plain
The other other day I toasted an english muffin for breakfast, a little bit of butter and cut up blackberries on top. -or- Mix in with yogurt, or on top of cereal or oatmeal.

In the morning I mix them with plain Greek yogurt (excellent source of fiber!). But my favorite way to eat them is on a sandwich thin with peanut butter (instead of jelly). It's just sweet enough, refreshing and healthy!

Plain is good enough for me. I will sometimes blend them with my peach smoothie at night (when I do that)
