Strength Training Suggestions?

Hello friends,
I was wondering if anyone has a site that they use that details a beginner's strength training routine you can do at home. I've looked, there's a lot out there, but I figured I'd ask the experts and see what is really worth doing. Any help would be much appreciated--I do a lot of cardio but I've heard you get better results when you focus more on strength training...

There are 2 I'd recommend. Stronglifts 5x5 and Starting Strength. On the SL 5x5 site, honeslty, the guy is weird and verbose. As simple and useful as the program is, he likes to go on and on and on. Don't let that discourage you. It a great and easy to use program. It also has a great iPhone app for tracking you progression and workouts. I'm more familiar with this as it's the one I follow but many have great things to say about Starting Strength.0
