    Dress nice...doesn't have to be a tuxedo/suit etc.

    CLEAN jeans and a nice CLEAN shirt.

    I met a guy (blind date) and he brought his friend (we were going to meet my friend) and was wearing a hot pink tank top with pizza/spaghetti stains all down the front, and gray camo shorts. I was disgusted and made up a story about my friend having a family emergency, and we couldn't possibly go out with them that day. So I took off and ran far far away. true story.

    Having a crotch rocket helps too...as in motorcycle. Chicks dig fast bikes.

    sorry, but if a guy isn't going to take the time to put on a clean shirt, then I don't have the time to deal with him. He had also failed to take a shower or put on deodorant. His friend looked just as bad. If he had showered and put on a clean shirt, then i would have given him a chance.

    two words stop looking? when you don't look for it you will find it. I relate to being over friendly though quite well. I finially just decided to wait and not look for a guy. not that I've given up hope by any means but I think the right person has not arrived for me yet.

    wow-I love all of this advice, even though most of it is totally nuts! For me-just ask. I had a HUGE crush on the guy that is now my husband-and apparently the feeling was mutual. He asked me out within 24 hours of meeting me.

    Or you could do the chocolate cake in a bear trap. I think I would fall for that one
