COME AT ME, BRO.

Judge me. Judge my food, my silly profile picture with a half gallon of cider in my pants, my calories burned... whatever.
I need to lose only THREE MORE POUNDS and my patience is wearing thin. I want to do this "right." It's taken me a year to lose a silly 17lbs (I know I've lost inches, gained strength, gained endurance, blah blah blah) but I want to make sure I'm not dillydallying around anymore.
Be harsh. For instance, I probably didn't need half a bagel for breakfast... TELL ME AGAIN! My diary is open.
More tidbits:
23 years old, 5'5"
SW/HW: 160
CW: 143ish
GW: 140
Exercise: Zumba (1 hour) usually 2-3 times per week. For strength I again do 2-3 times a week, 1 hour at a time, and go as heavy as possible while being at home, which is pretty lame and only about 20lb handweights plus bodyweight exercises (push-ups, pull-ups which I still suck at). I'm assuming strength is (ironically?) my weakness that everyone will point at.
Nutrition: I am lactose intolerant and I think I might have a gluten-sensitivity (helloooo digestive issues), so lately I've been cutting back on grains. My point isn't to be low-carb, it's just happening to end up that way. I try to eat Paleo-ish because of this, as well as generally not approving of processed food, but I'm not neurotic about it (besides the week I spent attempting a Whole30). I do what I can, but if I eat a cupcake I probably won't feel guilty.
I'm set to lose 1/2lb a week as "lightly active." I have a desk job though not one where I'm necessarily chained to my chair. At home I usually watch about 2 hours of tv a day but for at least one of those hours I do other stuff at the same time (fold laundry, do my weights, clean, etc). I try to literally only sit on my bum for no more than 1 show's worth... mostly out of ADD, cause no matter how much I like a show I just can't sit still that long.

3 pounds is such a teeny weeny little amount to lose. Don't push yourself so hard, when you're so close. You should be absolutely prouf of the weight you've lost.
17 pounds in a year may not seem like very much, but a trainer once told me that the longer you take to lose the weight, the longer it stays off because you learned to change your lifestyle as a result.
You are amazing as you are, and 3 pounds will not make you any more or less incredible than you already are.
I am definitely willing to add and support you! I just want to make sure you don't push yourself too hard, because you'll only be slowing your progress
Good luck!

Come on ate you kidding me! I know people who can crap out three pounds! Get out there and run. Put downthe half a bagel and hit the circuit, or keep drinking your cider and live your life wondering what I I would have just tried harder and longer!
Just kidding your doing great, and I love apples. Feel free to add me.0 -
Well, I can see exactly what your problem is. You should be using a 12oz coffee cup instead of 8oz and eat exactly 72g of cabs ever day
You're doing fine, it always takes longer to get rid of those last few lbs.0 -
Sup bro. You're good. Just be patient.0

Somewhere, there's a sad lonely half bagel remaining, wondering what's wrong with it. Developing esteem and body issues.
I hope you're pleased.

Maybe it's just my perspective, but I have a tendency to snicker when people say they "NEED to lose" and the number is under 10 lbs. That's a relatively small number and a day or two of change in diet, bowels, water intake can make that difference 5 lbs in either direction.
I guess coming from someone who has ~70lbs to lose, I'd be ecstatic to only be 10 lbs overweight right now.0 -

I know, right? 3lbs is like, cant you just go pee or something and be done?! But sadly, no matter how much I "flush out," there's a baseline I just can't cross. Thus! Fat loss is the answer. And I am not ashamed or feeling vain about wanting to lose 3 more pounds, especially when I could quite possibly lose another 10 without being unhealthy. 3 more is just reaching my goal. Hopefully I'll be happy there, since apparently being 3 pounds away isn't good enough :P0 -
My theory with the last 5 pounds (or 3) is that the pain doesn't come from running yourself round and giving up your greasy french fry habit, like it did with the first 20, those things are normal. The last 5 pounds pain comes from the agonising torturous sloooooooow loss.0
