    When my daughter was an infant, she would fall asleep in my arms when I held her when this song was on. So I'd always hold her while playing this song. So to me, it is about her.

    This song is about my senior year in high school when I was an angsty teenager that liked to color my hair odd shades, drink wine coolers, and sneak out of my bedroom window at night to see my boyfriend.

    Amazing to see how this song has spanned the generations. This song reminds me of the first time I saw them live at Starlake amphitheater in Pittsburgh. Robert Smith dedicated this song to the beautiful starry summer night. Oh, the good old days. And to think that I had friends in high school who mocked my obsession with the Cure. Still love them, by the way...
