What do you do when you are stressed?

I have never been a stress eater. I use to stress clean. I just burned a bunch of calories stress working out. Never done that before.
What do you do?

    me i hate to say it, i am a emotional eater.. especially when i am bored... i know not what you wanted to hear ;)

    I like to run when I'm stressed, but generally I'm too busy. Hence the stress. Tonight, I had some friends round, and we spent about 5h cramming for an exam tomorrow (everyone studying for it agrees we haven't been taught most of the course.) I'd love to run, but I found myself picking at food instead. Not so great.

    I agree, working out is the best cure and then finish it of with a long hot uninterrupted shower....the kind where you sit down with the water running on your back and your eyes closed.

    Im an emotional eater- especially if Im bored or upset. Sometimes though if Im very stressed I lose my appetite.
    I find ice skating relieves a lot of tension for me, pity the nearest rink is in the next town!

    i run to my cigerattes. i also run to my treadmill for a stress reliever..if its not stress n something different i am an emotional eater

    I dont wanna leave the couch for anything..i dont even wanna get up to eat or to get something to drink..i just wanna stay on the couch with my pillow and my blanket..and just stay there..which is where im located now..

    In all honesty I am short with those I love the most.

    Now, what I need to do more often is: try to take a look around and realize how blessed I am to be having the "problem" I am currently having. Watching the evening news could help put things in perspective for me pretty fast.

    In the past I would eat. These days... well, I am trying to find something else to take the place of food. What has worked so far is Yoga and Hot Tea.
