    We have a piano, and the girls play/played trumpet, trombone, baritone, and base clarinet. My wife plays flute. I play a clarinet and harmonica and noodle on the piano a bit. My real "instrument" is magic. Sleight-of-hand is like music. You perform set pieces that are better when you put some of yourself into them. You memorize, perform, improvise, entertain, and constantly practice manual skill. I like butt trumpets best, though.

    i had a weird uncle who played the swinette, but we rarely spoke of him. partly because he played the swinette.

    I can play the mandolin, fiddle and upright bass! I'm a bluegrass music type of girl! Ha. I want to learn the banjo though!

    I can pretty much play any non-wind instrument. Music is easy to me.

    I've been wanting a banjo for some time now. Time to go to Ebay and start shopping.

    I know what a Swinette is. Is this common knowledge? OR limited to former Bechtel managers?

    I love the banjo. It's my favorite instrument. =)
