Does anyone else wish there was more time in the day to listen to music?? I always have my iPod on at work, the radio blaring the car, Spotify playing on my computer while cooking and cleaning... yet I feel that it's impossible to stuff my ear hole with all of the music I want to hear!!

I always get crap for liking the Graves era Misfits better than Danzigs. Danzig era did have some kick *kitten* songs and set a staple on punk that lives on even today, but I have always been a fan of a melodic chorus, harmonizing back up vocals, wooowwwws and ooohhhhhs, and Graves era Misfits just fit my style better.

Can't believe no one mentioned Buzzcocks.

Anyway, awesome recs. Most of these I know. A few new names in there, which is awesome.

BTW, I hate the new Pennywise. It aint the same without Jimmy. I know onward and upward. Just not digging it.

It took awhile to get used to not hearing Jim singing, but I look at PW as a new band now. I love their new album.

If you haven't heard, Jim's new band is The Black Pacific. Pretty good,

Was more into punk as a young teen and was very into the 80's punk scene. As I got older I drifted more towards deathrock/goth though.

But my favorite punk bands were and are:
    The Buzzcocks
    Dramarama
    The Ramones
    Richard Hell
    The Germs
    Descendants
    The Clash
Dead Kennedys (I actually hated Jello's voice forever, it's just recently I'm liking it)
    The Cramps
    Sex Pistols
    TSOL
    The Vandals
    DI
Exploited (not really a fan anymore though)

Yeah, I could go on forever.
