I know that there have been posts of people who after creating more muscle from strength training have "re-shaped" their body without losing a pound. Below is a picture that also demostrates this.
Muscle doesn't "weigh more than fat" but it is more dense so it takes up less space in your body. Focus in your inches rather than the overall scale measurement to get a real gauge of progress!
This is why two people can weigh the same but look completely different!
