I need some NEW METAL!!!

Hey everybody!!! I need some new heavy metal to go beast mode on my workouts! I currently listen to A DAY TO REMEMBER, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, CARNIFEX, EMMURE, and other fast heavy bands. Im not in to the older metal like slipknot or korn....(too depressing) I need something fast and up-beat and it has to be HEAVY!!!! Any suggestions?

Jayb33z all of those bands you named are at least 15 yrs old and you said "old" metalica. Check out the bands that I posted and you will see that they are much different. I listened to Sepultura and Soul Fly in high school but my taste in metal have transformed into something much heavier over the past 10 yrs. My favorite workout song right now is "2nd Sucks" by A Day to Remember. I can put that song on repeat and destroy any workout!!!

    My favs for workout:
    Kataklysm
    The Absence
    Disharmonia Mundi
    Mors Principium Est
    Arch Enemy
    Destroy Destroy Destroy
    Scar Symmetry

Those all have some good fast/heavy stuff for workouts. I generally try to avoid metalcore stuff for workout music (e.g. Parkway Drive, All Shall Perish, etc.) as the breakdowns throw me off my groove.

Every band you just named is not metal. Well anyway heres a few I listen to not just at the gym pretty much all day. Its everything from rock, screaming, thrash, hardcore, and metal but if your bored check a few out.

ekotren, lamb of god, throwdown, 36 crazyfists, asking alexandria, lazarus ad, five finger death punch, overkill, august burns red, caliban, killswitch engage, terror, american headcharge, hatebreed, we came as romans, earth crisis, divine heresy, everytime i die, woe is me, i wrestled a bear once, volbeat, devildriver suicide silence, murderdolls, otep ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3-qhVHYxhk <<<, noone I know listens to ekotren but they are bad *kitten*

New metal scares me. Iron Maiden RULE (proper Maiden, with Bruce ****inson).

    I love Rammstein too.

EDIT: So I can't write Bruce's surname? Mental!

Rammstein and Killswitch Engage work perfectly, though they are not really heavy metal
