...that as you lose weight, the number of calories you burn decreases?
I was just wondering as I heard it somewhere, but also because the wii fit is telling me I'm burning less calories (only like 1 or 2 fewer than before) as I lose pounds.

Yes. The less you weigh, the less work your body has to do for activities of daily living. Also, if you've been working out your body and respiratory system are stronger and more efficient.0

Sadly, yes. It is true. I *wish* I was still burning as many calories as I was 50 pounds ago.0

Oh well, at least I know it's a sign of my body fuctioning more efficiently...and I'm still burning calories in the process0
