New Years New Body!!! Week 2

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a good week with the water challenge. My week, well with the water wasnt that successful, but it did help me somewhat. And as for exercising, I did amazing, went to the gym 5 days in a row. This was so hard for me, cause most days it was right after work, but after my weigh in this morning I am glad that I did it!
I now weigh 156.8 lbs which is a loss of 1.4 lbs! so I am very happy with that. :happy:
I have to go to work, so I dont have time to tally up the water results, but I will this afternoon. So keep an eye out, and I will also post our new challenge for the week!!! Good luck ladies!

I'm weighing in at 149 this morning! Yaaa.. I'm down. My water went only okay last week. Exercise was terrible... almost non-existent. I'm trying to get more into it this week.0

Im in and down to 264.2 from 267.0 yay!!!!!!!!!! I was kinda worried I didnt do all that well yesturday with eating and drinking but I tried to watch portion ! Everyone have a great day!

Yeah I found the thread!!!! Isnt there a way to link the thread on the past thread with "continued here"? I've seen it on other ones but dont know how it's done.
I start this Monday at 173. Water was not great over the weekend. I think I got in 5 yesterday total.0 -
I stepped on the scale today, a little scared because I didn't do very great with my water or exercise yesterday and it said 160! Woohoo That's -2 lbs.0

i am sad to report i didn't lose any weight, but i didn't gain either....just celebrated my b-day and i had a small slice of triple chocolae cake....hopefully next week i will report a better progress.
the challenge for the water intake was overall good...but i could do better...i will aim (this week) for more than 8 cups (at least).
Hope everyone did better than i did.

Here is an updated list for this weeks weigh in!!! Lets see who can be the biggest loser!!! The second column of weights are those who have not given me their weigh ins yet, so once they do, I will post them in the first column until we have them all!!! Good job everybody so far! lets have another good week!!! And I thought of a great challenge this week, I feel like i have a really hard time staying away from snacking in the evenings, I say, this week, we stay away from late night snacking, Lets aim for not eating later than 3 hours before you go to sleep, so lets say i go to sleep every night at 10 pm, i should stop eating at 7 pm...however, drinking water will be allowed, to maintain some good hydration!!!

So what exactly should we be posting/reporting each day? Just a "yes" or "no" whether we were successful in our "no late night snacking" goal?
Also, I'm wondering if we could tweak it a little bit. I don't snack at night in a grazing/munching kind of way, but sometimes I do go to bed within 3 hours of eating simply due to my work schedule. Can it count if I eat my planned and allowed after-dinner snack? I don't mean I'm going to inhale a carton of ice cream and hit the sack, but I get out of work around 6:00, so often dinner isn't until 7:30, and I may have dessert at 8:30 and go to bed at 11:00, and don't necessarily want to be considered a "failure" at the challenge- what do you think? Or, I could just not participate in this particular challenge, I would understand Whatever you all this is fair and reasonable, I'll agree with! No hard feelings :flowerforyou:0 -

My weigh in this morning was 145.6 which is only down .2 lbs, but since I had a huge loss last week and started my period today I was actually just glad I didn't gain. :laugh:0 -

Yeah-yeah! I'm now at 146.8. . . which is down 1.2 pounds! And that's even weighing in at night instead of the morning (totally spaced after my A.M. workout).

I am an all day snacker...so this challege will def. be challenging..lol I nibble on things all day then just sitting down and enjoying a meal...i def. eat dinner with family, but the rest of the day i nibble...so bad for a person who wants to lose weight...relief...i let out a secret...:sad:
Monday results...no snack, dinner, or coffee before bed...came home from college class very tired.

Hey everyone! Congratulations Nucond And Happy Belated falhaone! I had such a busy weekend that last night I was so tired I went to bed at 9:00pm... no chance for any late night snacking. I suppose that's one way to succeed at this challenge. I'm usually pretty good for night snacking. My weakness is ketchup chips (I know kinda gross)... but they're currently not allowed in my house...so here's hoping for a great week to all!0

Just report on how you did, and having ur last snack at 8:30 and going to bed at 1100 is fine, some of the websites i looked on said within 2-3 hours before bed. Just tell us how your day went, and maybe to add to the challenge, since a few of us snack all day, how about we make all our snacks healthy ones, and then make sure to be done eating within atleast 2 hours before bed time. Anyhow, any other ideas are quite welcome!!! good luck everyone!:happy:0

This one is going to be hard for me! My husband has a bad habit of bringing a bowl of ice cream or popcorn to bed for when we watch TV before we go to sleep. I'll tell him he'd better knock it off
I didn't eat before bed yesterday. Worked 3rd shift, so I had a bagel with some butter around 1 AM... got home and went to bed around 6 AM.0 -

So, last night I did good, didnt eat 2 hours before bed, so i am happy with that. As for the snacking today, well i did pretty good to try and keep them healthy, except for the one evil chocolate croissant that I had at work. Hopefully tonight I can manage without eating too close to bed time. Heres an update for the weigh ins!!!

I am happy to report that I did not snack last night. In addition, I discovered that one of my snacking problems was that I hadn't gone shopping in a while and my choices were very limited at home. So last night I loaded up on easy healthy food. Lots of veggies, fruit and easy meats to cook up like pork chops in addition to good ole cottage cheese. I am not however doing well on my water consumption today. I'm only down 4 but it's only 3pm here.0

So, had an awesome night with the NO SNACKING!!!! havent eaten anything since 8:30ish tonight and now im heading to bed and its 11:30!!! so, its perfect!!!! Anyhow, hope everyone has a good day tommorow....goodnight!:happy:0

Hello everyone:
I am so pleased to report that Monday I had NO SNACKS....a big accomplishment for me since my b-day cake is still in the fridge and i had nothing since b-day. Last Snack was on 5pm
My water consumption for Monday was 9 cups..
Tuesday: NO SNACKING! Throughout the day i only had 1 scedualed (3pm) and that was it...Thank God.
I think i am enjoying this challenge....especially because i relized i have CONTROL...:happy:
NO SNACKS...or i stopped eating (at 8pm) before I went to bed (10pm).
Tuesday's water, on the other hand, was not so good - i only had 5 cups...

Hi all Last night was great for me. I had dinner at about 7:30 and ate nothing after besides my herbal tea. I also managed to ensure I had 8 glasses of water. Here's to an equally fantastic day today. I am however REALLY struggling with exercise. Anyone have any easy to get started after you haven't been doing anything in awhile ideas? Right now all I can faithfully manage is my 1/2 hour or 45 minute walk with my dog. Have a great day all!0
