  • You are gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat! Be patient! Also, try muscle confusion by changing up your routine! If you stay with the same routine your muscles will get used to it and you won't loose any more weight.

    hope this helps!
    keep swimming!

So muscle weighs more than fat now? Muscle has a greater density and takes up less space than fat pound for pound but it doesn't weigh more.

You're losing fat and also adding muscle, lose 1lb of fat and add 1lb of muscle and you have made progress just haven't lost weight in the way you expect. You body composition has changed which is more important.

    Keep it up.

This is an old argument, besides the OP deactivated her account.

It could be water retention. I don't know the exact reasoning, but when you engage in a new exercise, your muscles retain water to help repair them. It takes a long time to build up muscle, so it probably wont be a huge factor in the weight gain.

Not an argument, it is fact. The Misnomer of muscle weighing heaver is ridiculous.
