Okay, so, I was diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism and I am taking Metformin, Synthroid, and oral Depo-Provera.

I've heard that Metformin, with diet and exercise, can speed up the weight loss process.

Anyone with PCOS that can help me?

Or on Metformin that can confirm or deny this?

I have been taking metforim for the last almost 3 months for my PCOS. I have dropped 43 lbs as of my last weigh in (I've given up the scale as of a few days ago so I'm not sure what it is at now). Combined with clean eating, exercising 5-6 days a week, and the medication is how I have lost it.
  • Oh wow! Great job! I hope I receive similar results. Keep up the good work! :)
