i had a smoothie this morning for breakfast!

    8 oz 1%milk
    6 oz plain greek yogurt
    3/4-1 c fresh strawberries
1 scoop Careone vanilla whey protein powder (yes, it's a generic brand :-) )

Place in tall container & use blending wand to mix up. Yields about 16oz of smoothie and is 373 calories. Of course less yogurt & less milk will lower cals.

    Yum!!

I got it at Giant (I live in the DC metro). I think that brand is also sold at CVS. But you can also get a big container of protein powder at target (again, i usually go generic).

    happy shakin :-D

OK, this may NOT be what you're looking for....but as a busy, busy mom of 4 I found a "dole shaker" at the store and grabbed it since it was just 2 points for WW, you add juice and shake. I got light v8 fusion and totaled 3 points. It was YUMMY and all you do is pour in the juice and shake! Way better than I thought it would be!

I like to start with unsweetened vanilla or chocolate almond milk in smoothies and then I add ingredients from there.

I'm right there with you....I hear tofu and I shiver a bit.....until I tried it a couple different ways.
it's banana flavour so all you taste is banana, and it's really creamy.

I have a protein smoothie everyday for breakfast. I use vanilla and chocolate whey usually. Sometimes I throw some Casein chocolate in if it might be a little while before I eat again. I love to use frozen fruit, yogurt which I freeze. I use flax seeds, chia seeds and steel cut oats, among other things, sometimes. I just love to get creative with it. Try what ever suits your individual tastes. I make a Pina Colada one with frozen pinapple and coconut milk with a little water and ice for consistency.

This is more of a milkshake recipe, but its very high in protein
    The base:
    1/2 cup cottage cheese
    1 scoop protein powder
    1-3 packets stevia/truvia
    5-10 ice cubes
    1/2-1 cup water

Add to it any combo of stuff like berries, fruit or pudding mix and you have an endless list of milkshakes that have about 37g of protein :)

Yep, I was going to post this one too! It's really good!
  • I make smoothies all the time, my favorite is a snickers smoothie!

1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
1 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder
1 tbsp of low fat peanut butter
1 tbsp sugar free caramel ice cream topping
    6 oz unsweetened almond milk
    6-8 cubes of ice

whizz it all up in a blender and hey presto, delicious meal replacement. The unsweetened almond milk is yummy and has way less calories than milk, plus no sugar!

    hope you like it!

I eat the following for breakfast most mornings:

1/2 c. Cabot Greek Yogurt - Vanilla Bean
    4 large frozen strawberries
    1/2 c. frozen blueberries
    1/2 medium banana, raw
    1 tbsp. 100% ground flaxseed
    1/4 c. Tropicana Trop 50 orange juice

blend together. May need more juice depending on how thick it is. It is 270 calories.

Note - I buy the large bags of frozen strawberries and blueberries at Costco
