Going to a wedding...help me pick a dress! Please!!!

I pick dress #4 - it's purple right? That one looks fantastic on you.

I'm older and my mother was even older.... I hear her in my head saying "you don't wear black to a wedding!" Wearing black to a wedding meant you didn't approve of a wedding.

Now I know no one follows that anymore but it's what I heard for many many years. I have had friends who couldn't have black bridesmaids dresses because the church they were getting married in didn't approve. They actually had it in the church by laws .... can't be 100% black. Winter wedding at night with beautiful black velvet dresses.... had to get these ivory wraps to wear during the wedding and took them off for the reception.

Just silly tidbits.

But based on all the weddings I have been to recently.................... I stick with don't wear black. EVERYONE wears black! You want to stand out a little bit in a different color. Another thing I learned from my Mom!

Personally, I would go with 1 or 4, the darker colors are more slimming and that's always a good thing.:drinker: cheers have fun

1 and 4 are my favs on you. I would go with #1, it's classic.

Dress 2 is my favorite, but that's just my personal style. As for which look best on you, they all look nice...but I'm still gonna say 2. There you have it!

They all look stunning on you-- but I'd go with 2 (gorgeous color, great design and I'm wearing one similar at work today ) or 4 (also a beautiful color and the cut is lovely on you!

Either #3 or #4! The fourth dress is gorgeous and looks amazing on you, but it may be too 'bridesmaid' ... do you know what the bridesmaids are wearing by any chance? I'd say dress three, that also looks amazing on you and very pretty! Go with the third dress! have fun!!!

I'd say dress 2 or 3. I always feel better (less self-conscious) when I have sleeves and don't have to worry about my arms. However, I love the one shoulder look and the print on dress three is very pretty. I think both dresses are really flattering. The good news for you? You CAN'T go wrong. You'll look fabulous in any of these. Have a great time!

Dress #4 and it'll look best if your hair is in an up-style similar to the picture.

I am attending a wedding this weekend at 7pm on Sunday. As far as I know it will be indoors. I don't know what dress to wear......please help me!

I like #4, the purple one, the best. I'd just make sure it isn't the color of the wedding party dresses, but that's just me.
