Is this site accurate?

I'm new here, hoping to only lose 20 or 30 lb, just to get a little healthier. I was just wondering if the little box that pops up after you log a meal was accurate.
It says something like, "If every day were like today, on June 15th you would weigh ***lbs".
I was wondering if any of you have experienced the accuracy of this? Have any of its predictions come true for you?
I was just wondering If I could trust it.
Thanks for your helps :flowerforyou:

Don't do that until you log the whole day. I think that number is just motivation to eat healthy every day. I wouldn't put too much into it's accuracy. This site does work though if you use it properly.0

I found that to be accurate at the start of my weight loss, when I had about 40 lbs to lose. Now that I have 20 lbs left it is not accurate at all. When you don't have a lot to lose (10-20 lbs) you won't see quite as linear of progression in weight loss as if you have more to lose (think 50 or more lbs).
All the suggested weight in 5 weeks does is apply what amount of calorie deficit you had that day and paste it into 35 days of eating at that EXACT deficit. Life doesn't go as planned like that for 35 days, at least not for people I've met  so just take it as a mechanical suggestion or better yet - don't hit the complete button and you won't have to read it and think about it.
I see it each day and after 6 months of not reaching the 5 week goal it is pretty disheartening. But I know that it is just a spreadsheet spit out of numbers so I can rest assured I am going at the pace I deserve with how much I eat / exercise.0 -
Thankyou, this was really helpful. I think I'll take your advice and just not look at it. haha :laugh:0
