I'm from Kansas. I grew up calling it 'pop' but sometime in my youth I decided I wanted to sound less like I was from the Midwest so I specifically switched to calling it 'soda.' Now I feel self-conscious when I say 'soda' but can't switch back to calling it 'pop'!

I really call it whatever it is, specifically. But if I'm referring to it in general, soda. Grew up in NJ and VT.

    Ever hear of a bubbler?

I'm from NH, and went to college down in VA Beach. The first time I asked to use a bubbler, the professor stared at me like I was crazy. Apparently, that term isn't used down South very often.

I'm also familiar with a different kind of bubbler :smokin:

here in Texas - we say 'want a coke?"
reply - 'sure, what kind y'all got?'
I grew up with pop but been here for so long, it sounds strange to me now.
