    My Mum used to play heaps of records from the 50's and some of them were great too.

    I'm partial to New Wave myself, it's mostly what I listen to. I really love 50's music as well, and classical (I play the violin). Actually, I listen to a pretty wide array. But yes, I'll go with 80's if I have to pick a decade. :)
