Sagginess ... (is that even a word??)

So I'm nearly 49 and working to lose 25 pounds. 10 pounds in so far and happily working hard to get rid of the next 15. I'm working out daily (dance aerobics with weights for an hour 6x per week and one day of two hours hiking), keeping my daily, after-excersie calories between 1200-1500 most days. I eat back every calorie I burn!

Here's my question: anyone out there around 45-50 who's lost around 20 pounds who can share sagging stories with me? -- Specifically, I'm wondering if my arms will ever be less jiggly than they are now. I've never been really big, so I don't have stretch marks or anything, but my arms are just loose. Also, my butt seems determined to continue impersonating a poorly-set jello shot until the end of days ... any thoughts on whether an old lady like me can hope for firmness in that area without lipo??

Everytime I really start getting into shape my butt firms back up ;) Give it about 3 months and you'll have an awesome butt!!

Incorporate strength training into your workout. Squats are great for a firm *kitten*!! And weight baring exercises help strengthen bone, which is good for women of a certain age when estrogen levels fall (not saying you're of that age yet, but good to know! Lol)
