Often at the end of the day I have a look at my food diary and see that I am extremely low on protein.
Whats high protein but low cal (or just not really high cal like the obvious red meat) that I can work into my days to get more protein?
Other than meat and protein powder of course!

lots of protein in a can stuff at the the store that is high in protein but low in calories. Take for example this product has 30g protein but only 130 calories. http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3650194&cp=3593186.3593187.2108294

The meats that other people recommend are good too. I like the extra lean 96/4 ground beef myself. It's got quite a lot of protein and makes the most awesome tasting burger ever. +light bread, pickles, tomatoes, mustard and HFCS free ketchup, yum.

I get most of my protein from 97/3 organic ground turkey, other good sources are egg whites and nonfat Greek yogurt.

True, but as they don't promote cannibalism on this site (I guess zombies don't need to diet) how would you know the caloriescontent?

Just had some turkey jerky myself. 80 cal for 15 grams of protein. One package will give you 45 grams of protein for 240 calories. A lot of sodium though

Yeah that might be an issue. It further complicates things because the calorie content would depend on the specific body part being ingested. On average, the most protein per square inch is in the legs, but this can still vary from person to person.

Meat really is the number one here. You say red meat is high in calories but it's also jam packed with protein. Lean cuts of red, pork, chicken, fish... just eat it if it doesn't eat you first

There are fat-free greek yogurt options... A 170g pot og Total 0% has 18g protein and is only 96cals.
  • Pork once or twice a week, can be really lean, and tenderloins are easy and yummy..... dash of S+P ... 350 45 minutes....
no bacon sausage or ham. Well trimmed roasts can be good as well.

Protein shakes. Or non-fat plain Greek yogurt (flavor it yourself).. One cup has 130 calories and 23g of protein.
