Day 5 completed this morning. Thankfully muscle soreness has now gone and my endurance is up. More importnatly I can actually see the start of changes to my abs. So excited and so motivated to keep going.

I just finished Day 5 also... My endurance is about the same... Push ups are still hard, I do the modified but my chest muscles feel like they want to rip themselves out! I can notice a bit of a difference in my abs though (wherever they are hiding underneath all my fluff)! Glad to know I'm not the only one :-)

@toadiejones That cheering section does work wonders. I finished day three today and my six year old does tries to do the workout with me because "she wants to be big and strong." It's so cute, and it keeps me very motivated. She totally beats me at jumping jacks.

My brother cheers me on :-)

I did day 6 today and it went well! I'm definitely feeling a difference in my endurance as well! I can keep up with JM better which is encouraging. I've only lost about .5 off of my smallest part of my waist and I feel like I look slimmer though i've only lost like 2 pounds since i started the Shred.

I don't know about you guys, but posting here daily helps me remember what day i'm on! haha, anyone else with me on this?

L1 - Day 7 done. I managed to do all the cardio properly today (before I modify the jump rope). Go team me.

I definitely like checking in to remind me what day I am up too and to just keeping going.

Day five complete! It's amazing to see how many more (modified) push-ups I can do in comparison to day one. Those side lunges with arm lifts are still kicking my butt though. I can do the whole first set with no problem, but only about half of the second and wind up finishing them without the weights. :-(

Day 3 completed. :) I definitely felt like I could keep up better today after having break - I use Thursday as my "rest" day because I see most of my clients on Thursday and by the time I get home I'm waaaay too tired to work out after chasing children around all day!

I explained to my hubby that he has to leave me alone for 30 minutes in the morning each day this weekend so I can concentrate. He was like, "umm...okay...." Hahaha, I just don't like to see or be seen by other people when I'm working out!

Day 6 done today. Pushups and side lunges are killing me :( I suck at them!

Won't be doing day 7 until Monday.

Day 8 completed. It was completely knackering as I decided that it wold be a great idea to do the shred straight after a pilates class. I was dying like I did on Day 1. Looking forward to Day 10 when I wil take some measurements and progress photo's - hpoing that I will be able to see some changes as the scales are doing noting at the moment.
  • I'll give it a go. I've not had much success with it in the past in terms of actual weight loss, but I'll try again. Just got back of vacation and now my "big" pants don't even fit, so I gotta do something! :)

L1 - Day 9 done. Can't make up my mind whether to have a rest day after Day 10 has been completed are just keep pushing on. I am feeling a bit demotivated as I don't appear to losing anything but I really must persevere till the bitter end before I decide if it was a waste of effort of not.

I completed Day 7 today (I ended up taking a break) and it was tough. I thought it would be a bit easier since it's day 7 but I felt extremely tired afterwards. I hope tomorrow is better. I think the reason it was tough was because I took a break, so Titanium I would say push through it! You can do it! I don't plan on taking breaks if I can help it. I personally don't see change, but my parents continue to support me and mention how I look thinner! Wohoo for 30SD! I hope I get great end results!

Let's push through this guys! We can do it! It's only 20 minutes!

I finished day 6/level 1 today and actually could see progress in the push-up section today. I still have a little bit of trouble making the it whole way through the side lunges/arm raises, I usually have to take a few rests in between there but I try to keep up!
  • I"m in too. I finished day 3 of level one and I almost did all of the push ups!! But boy am I sore! I have a question though. Are we supposed to do each level for 10 days or just move up to the next level when the current one is getting too easy for us?

Personally I am going with the 10 days at each level approach. I have been just trying to upo my reps and doing less modified moves to keep it challenging.

So, I got impatient about weighing myself and have done it a day early. I've lost 1.2lb since Monday! I usually only manage about half a lb a week so I've pretty much doubled it by doing 30DS!

    Yay!

Hope you are all seeing results - it will be worth it!!

  • I'm really loving this workout! It's quite a challenge for me but being only 24 minutes, I cant make any excuses for not doing it. Last night I completed day 4 of level one and my legs are protesting!!

Finished Day 5 yesterday, looking forward to Day 6 after tennis. Does anyone else mix up the weights for different exercises? I'm finding that I can use 5 or 8 lb weights on things like the chest fly and the row, but on the shoulder exercises I can just barely manage 3 lbs!

I do the same with weights, shoulder exercises are so much harder! I think as long as you know what your body can cope with and keep pushing it, then you'll do fine. After all if you're capable of heavier weights on some it makes sense to mix it up a bit!

    Keep it up :-)

Day 9 done! I'm so surprised my usually lazy self has been at this for 9 days straight. I am a bit nervous and excited to start level 2. I still haven't even looked at it yet. Maybe I'll take a glance tonight so that I know what I'll be in for.

    Day 8 - Done.

Was sooo tired and hot, and my feet hurt after work..but I sucked it up and did it. Probably didn't go at my normal intensity...but did it.
