    ENERGY BALLS
    Ingredients:

    1 C Sunflower seeds, toasted
    1 C sesame seeds, toasted
    1 TBSP flax seed
    1 C rolled oats
    1 C chocolate chips
    1 C chopped dates
    1 C dried cranberries
    ½ C cocoa powder
    2 C peanut butter
    ½ C honey
    1 ½ C toasted coconut (for coating)

    Method:

Put everything except coconut into a large bowl
Mix all ingredients together well with your hands (you may need a bit more honey to hold it together).
Roll ¼ cup scoops of dough into balls and then roll them in the toasted coconut.
Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or the freezer for a couple of months.

**You can easily get creative with this recipe by adding other favorite dried fruits/nuts**
I use natural unsalted PB and this time I added raw unsalted pumpkin seeds and some blueberry craisins too! YUM! They freeze awesome too

You can also put lite chocolate syrup on top of this before you freeze it. That's what I do and it tastes sooo good! There was a fellow MFP member who had posted about this receipe months ago and I am forever in her debt!

you would probably find it there as whipping cream,in the dairy section

    white fluffy dairy
  • Ok try this :

1 scoop of chocolate protein shake
1 dessert spoon of peanut butter
    1 egg

Mix em up in a cup and stick em in the microwave for 1min. Take it out, if it's still liquidy stick in in for another 20secs. Have another look, repeat until you get a spongy cake.

Then enjoy! High protein low carb. That's the way I roll!

If that's too much in the way of calories try using 0% fat yogurt, one egg, peanut butter and cocoa powder. Mess around with it and see what you think!

okay best one right here, watched it on the dr oz show, take a dark chocolate bar and melt it down, then take small scoops of peanut butter and dip them in the melted chocolate alow to harden on wax paper, and eat, great little recipe, very simple and looked delicious........ plus it is just the 2 ingrediants and kind of reminded me of buckeye balls. 3-4 ripe bananas
1 cup of all natural Peanut Butter
    1 Tsp vanilla
    1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut
    pinch of salt
optional - 1/2 cup to full cup of dark chocolate chips

Mix together, form into about 12 mounds on non stick cookie sheet and back for 12 - 14 minutes at 375 degrees,
  • 1 square 90% chocolate (54) + 1 tsp (5g) unsweetened peanut butter (30) = an 84-calorie rich treat that tastes just like a Snickers ^_^

    2 tbsp coconut oil
    2 tbsp honey or agave
    3 tbsp cocoa powder
    1 tbsp peanut butter
    4 muffin liners

Melt coconut oil. Add agave and cocoa powder. Fill 4 foil liners 1/4 of the way. Freeze for five minutes. Distribute peanut butter evenly between the six cups and top with the remaining chocolate. Freeze until ready to eat!
