10lbs in 6 weeks challenge. 8th July 2012

Howdy myfitnesspals!
I've set myself the challenge of losing 10lbs in 6 weeks. Starting from today, i'm weighing myself every Sunday and on the 8th July 2012 I hope to have reached 148lbs. (i'll then be going on to do another couple of challenges, but one at a time!)
Myself and ikiness are doing the challenge, but i wonder if any others would like to join and make it a bit of a competition? A bit of competitiveness always helps me!

I'd love to be in! I first thought it was 10 pounds in a months and wondered how you were going to do hat, 6 weeks is better!
Any tips? I've lost 7 pounds in a month....but need some tips! I have no idea if I'm doing anything right! And I HATE to exercise. I'm doing it a few times a week, but HATE it!0 -

Count me in! I weigh in tomorrow and I'm hoping to see two lbs. down from last week, which will put me at 8 lbs. down from April 30. (My weigh-ins are first thing Monday mornings, stark naked, after using the bathroom, but before showering, so I'll post my starting weight in the morning.)0

Count me in. I just weighed in today at 213, 10 lbs by 7/8 would be great. I had originally hoped to be at or under 200 by 4th of July but that may be a little unrealistic. This sounds like a reasonable challenge. Thanks for the idea and I look forward to working with a team of movitated people!!!0
