i live in a very hilly town and carry my almost 5 month old 17lb baby in a sling and push my 30lb toddler in the stroller. i usually only add the calories from 'walking carrying infant or 15lb' but i started to think that maybe i should be adding more to incorperate the pushchair pushing (and the hills lol!) i seem to be on a bit of a pause with my weight loss at the mo and im wondering if im not eating enough.

im under doctors orders not to run or do any medium/high impact exercise for 4 weeks :(

have you thought of buying a HRM so you can log the exact amount of calories. The numbers in this data base for exercise are guesses at best and in no way accurate.

if you are in the UK I bought one at Tescos for GBP25 works ok!

that said, personally I wouldn't bother logging walking of any kind it really doens't burn that many calories unless you really do a lot of it.
