From morbidly obese to merely overweight! (with pictures)

So, I started this whole thing at my highest weight of 290ish. This is the only picture that exists of me at that weight:
I lost a little weight and lived at 268 for a few years:
Today, about 9 months after I started really focusing on my fitness I am 202.5 pounds and officially in the overweight category according to the BMI:
I did my first race a few weeks ago. Just a 5k, but I rocked the heck out of it and had so much fun!:
I still have LONG road ahead of me, but I am looking forward to it! I have a few more 5ks coming up and my first triathlon later in July. I have just been having fun with the whole fitness thing and seeing what I can do next!

Awesome work!! Bet it felt great to finish your 5K. I've participated in 2 so far.... mostly walked them. My next goal is to actually complete one running the whole time. My next attempt will be in August.0

Haha, thanks! And yep, unless I have a bum scale! I have always had a large frame and blessed with huge a** muscles. Great for the weight lifting0 -
