NEED HELP. Eating too much JUNK because of restriction!

For the past year and a half I have been on a "diet" and have been restricting food more than I should. It was very unsafe and I am not proud of it. I have been trying (with the support of many great people on MFP) to increase my intake to a normal, healthy amount. Over the couple days I have eaten just about everything in sight. Most of which had no nutritional value and is junk food. I keep wanting to eat everything in sight (almost everything that is "fatty" or unhealthy) even if im not really hungry. Nothing really goes through my mind when I'm doing it, but afterward i feel disgusting and guilty. What can I do about this? I don't want to keep eating like this, I know if I do I'm going to put pounds back on and just get back to old habits. I would really like some help/advice. When I'm eating this way, I dont know what's going through my mind, and I dont really understand why Im doing it. Thank you

please dont be so hard on yourself thats what happen to me a few years ago i restricted myself so much all i did was binge and i felt bad , but it will pass you've just got to give your body time to catch up with your brain .It's hard i know but just give it a few days it will subside and then you can start eating normally again ,you could also see your Doctor they might be able to help0

Also, I don't know if you've looked into this, but have you been checked for Anemia? When I used to crave greasy, salty foods, it turns out I was SERIOUSLY Anemic. Like..bad, bad. A good daily dose of Iron and a short term prescription for it have turned those cravings into ...well, not gone, but so much better.
Just a thought0 -
Oh, and it turns out that 1 in 4 women is anemic, so it's very possible0

I love any and all junk foods....but I have to learn self control. I can have something but I need to enjoy 1 and then stop....which is the hard part for me. I have stopped eating any at this point because I just crave more. I hope this will change in time with only eating healthy foods. It is just a choice I'm making for myself : )

Well I don't know why either. I do it also. Mainly when I have certain meals I start just benge while I cook. French fries, pasta and butter and bread and butter. I have tried different things but nothing has worked. Last week only on will power I made it through 2 outcomes successfully. I had to keep talking to myself the whole time. I hope someone out there can shed some light on it. I will keep thinking.0

Sounds like you should plan your meals, my meal plans for 3 days at a time and stick to eating them.0
