I have heard that listening to upbeat music while exercising helps motivate you. Is it true? And if it is does anyone have any good song ideas?? I really only listen to country (that happens when you grow up on a farm in the middle of nowhere). Any suggestions????

I have a lot of country on my mp3 but always find myself listening to rock, metal, hardcore, metalcole seems to get me pumped0

I listen to my music from my iPod on my phone and i downloaded some hiphop and metal and that seems to get me going. I did find some very upbeat country songs! Thanks for all the help!!!0

I always listen to music while I exercise and I find it really helps me keep the rate up and the motivation high. If I don't use music I tend to slow down.
I make a playlist on You tube so that I can mix it up when I get bored. Music types: industrial, electro and 80s pop music. Anything with a strong beat.0
