Break out the bongos and John Lennon glasses and dig on some groovy poetry, man. :smokin:

Fried foods, denied foods. Just a prelude to my bad mood.
I want some Burger King and onion rings. And some sugar powdered sweetened things.
My malady is my calories. I can’t go over my dietary salary.
I gotta eat right, eat less, eat light, eat best. Exercise and exorcise my yearnings.
Stay inside my dietary earnings.
I keep up my morale by logging into My Fitness Pal,
where I can then rationale my strife for better health.
Amassing a world of athletic wealth.
So to all of us in this fight, in this dietary righteous plight,
here we can all unite and learn to eat the foods that right.

(finger snapping, finger snapping)

my annoyance with gotye spilled over...

I get you Gotye, but that girl did you a favor
She let you move on, she’s no player
I know a girl who studies medieval execution
Every loving whisper followed by persecution
Sweet lips, perfect hips, sapphire eyes
One hand on my cheek, in the other a knife
Her scales keep score in this sadistic game
    Balancing between hope and heartbreak
Bony fingers probe my veins, bleed me dry
Then she whispers my name, breathes me to life
(this line indicates we're not finished here...)
You cry about someone that you used to know
I’m haunted by a pain that refuses to let go

If it has to be about food, here's one i wrote about yogurt once:

    Oh my dear yogurt
    In a small plastic cup
    Your 6 ounces of flavor
    Really pick me up
In the morning when I’m tired
    And dreading the day
I can peel back your foil
    And like heaven you taste
    Just 80 calories
And none of them from fat!
    You have potassium and protein
    And I sure love that
    Such a transient form
    Neither liquid nor solid
    A dairy delight
With some real fruit thrown in
    Oh yogurt sweet yogurt
    My breakfast of choice
    To devour you completely
    Is my greatest joy
