Im trying to be really careful about my portion sizes.. I need to know-when measuring meat by the ounce, do you weigh it before or after its cooked?

    I weigh mine after it's cooked. I also have a book called "The calorie King Calorie Fat & Carbohydrate counter". It has a section on what meats weigh before they are cooked and after. Hope this helps!!~~

    I weigh mine after because that is the portion I am actually eating.
