I'm looking into taking a pole dancing fitness class and I was wondering what I should log it as?

Obviously the best thing to do would be to use a heart rate monitor but uh.. I don't have one.

I'm a fatty pole dancer, and I GET DOWN TOO! Heheh.

I would add an exercise and just add "pole dance" and then if you don't have a HRM you can always do the METS perception test and then see how many calories you burn at a certain mets level for your weight. :)

    Here's a mets calculation...
I always say pole is a 5 for me, since I can still chat but I am breathing heavy and feeling like I'm busting behindus.

those two will give you an idea of the mets equivalents.
