I started p90x 7 weeks ago and was averaging a lb a week of weight loss. I finally got into the 150's ( I had been stuck in the 60's for too long) and got super excited, HOWEVER I was still eating SOME junk, so I decided to cut that off and be more aware of what I eat and put into my body, but somehow down the road, last week I managed to gain the 2 lbs that I had lost back and ever since then it won't budge. Now I KNOW I should not care about the number on the scale as I CAN fit into certain shorts now that I could not before, but it's still so frustrating, it feels like after a couple weeks my body has gone no where, how could I have gone from losing a lb a week to gaining the two and not being able to lose it?

HOW DO YOU COPE WITH THIS

I was stuck for most of last year no matter what I did I would go up 3lb then down 4 lb and back up 4 lb and so on for months this went on then sudenly it just clicked and I lost a bit and it didn't go back up, I would not change too many thing and if you do then I would keep them going for longer than 3 weeks before changing something else as your body maybe becoming more resiliant to it now you are getting close to your goal.

Pretty much yes I have changed up my training plan but not the intensity I still do the same levels and foodwise I have always been pretty good, I'm no angel when it comes to treats but I never have been but I just don't let it bother me and just let it happen as it wants to.

also with P90x you do a lot of weight lifting which will build muscle and muscle weighs for than fat due to it being denser. Im struggling with the same thing at the moment but I take measurement and keep a running total of body fat percentage and even though the scale has stopped going in reverse for me I know Im doing something right. Body fat percentage and waist and hips measurements drop and shorts start tto get bigger=) Keep chugging and remeber like T horton says Rome wasnt built in a day and neither will your body be. Slow and steady will win this race,

i have a scale at my parents that measures body fat % but even tho i've lost about 5 inches over all the body fat stays the same, how can that be?
