Shoe Help???

Hey everyone....I'm going out this weekend to buy some new runners as the ones I use now have now cut up my ankles!
Can anyone suggest a good brand of running shoes? I don't want to pay to much but I want them to last a lot longer then these did (reebok). I'm not quite at the running stage but I walk every night (for the most part)

    If you have a store like Runner's Soul (specializes in running shoes) would be best to go to a store like that to be properly fitted for the right shoe for you. If not I have heard many good things about Asics and Brooks. As for me I prefer the VFF and yes you have to ease your way into wearing VFF.
