Was going thru old pics, and found this gem.
We had a costume contest at work. Our team won :smokin:
Got any pics of some good costumes?

This might be the best thing I've ever seen on MFP

Oh, I love that movie! Favorite character and line from the movie.

I think I was a pretty sweet Snooki- side note- I'm very fair skinned, I worked the spray tan to the max, and this was 2 years ago...

This was my absolute favorite Halloween costume that I ever wore (as an adult). I might rock the Pocahontas look again this year---except in a much smaller size!!
ETA: the date stamp is wrong lol, obviously it was not 1/1/2005---more like 10/31/2007, almost a year after having my son.

I was just about to ask why you were dressed up on New Year's Day.0 -
My old roommates and I dressed up like the characters from Clue complete with weapons. Separate from each other our costumes weren't so obvious so everytime someone asked what I was I'd say, "I'm Mrs White in the (whatever room I was in) with the candlestick (or whichever weapon, we switched all night long)".0

Bump! Time to dig through pics0

That's a great idea. I love that game and the movie (I know, but I love it).0 -
I go just a little bit nutty for Halloween.
My husband and I were a viking and a pict last Halloween, but my brother's Red Foo stole the show!
But since one costume isn't enough, we were also Jay & Silent Bob for a zombie walk:
And I wore my pirate costume for a zombie run:
And I was a sugar skull for the trick-or-treaters on Halloween proper:

Alright. This is an oldie, and cheesy but fun. My Husband and I in 97 as a Professor and Naughty School Girl. Pretty sure that was the night we conceived our first born! Seriously.

Thanks. I cut the bottom off a 2 liter soda bottle, put it in the center of my head and pulled my hair up around it. Much better than a wig!0 -

I was poison ivy. I made my own costume. It had leaves all over. lol I really liked it.0 -
I soooooooooo LOVE Halloween, have to share a few from my family...(bare with me, never shared pics before so we will see how this goes.)
My son as Chucky for his first Halloween (best costume ever!!) LOL
My son and I as characters from the SAW movies (his 2nd Halloween)
My son as a Zombie for his 3rd Halloween
Family pic from last year, first time my son was able to pic his own costume...he picked Mickey... so his sister got to be Minnie. I was Jessica from True Blood, and the fiance had a blue monster mask that he is not wearing in this pic.
And just for fun, a pic that I photoshopped to creep out my family members...they called me demented for this one. 8-)
HALLOWEEN RULES!!!0 -
I was so proud of myself because I made it from a gigantic sweater from the thrift store lol Cost me a total of 10 dollars to make. HOORAY. Yes, I'm wearing the same hat in my profile picture lol There were epic furry leg warmers but you can't see them in this pic
and the year before
....not going to show the actual costume because I'm pretty sure I'd be breaking a rule and the pic would be removed hahaha0 -
I've had a few Halloween gigs over the years...

Alright it's nerd time! We will start off with one of my favorite Halloweens, the year my friends and I went as the "knights drunk under the table", think Monty Python meets a bunch of drinkers in a college town. We would roam from frat house to frat house, liberating libations on our quest to slay the devil sobriety (I told you it was nerd time):
Me in my hand made costume (Baron Von Black Butte) and my humble Paige boy:
(Left to Right) Sir Pat Blue Ribbon, Baron Von black butte, the brothers black and tan(Cory as bass and Kyle as guiness), and our mounted force sir Bryan of killians:
Next year, ran out of time and had to come up with a costume on the spot, King of the Hill:
Drunken prospector:
I think I'm 19 or 20 in this one, 1800's aristocrat:
As Dethklok (I'm Murderface):
As you may be able to guess, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays .0 -

I love them all, but THIS is just all kinds of awesome!!!!!!!!!!
And I want to go to your Halloween parties.0
