In a couple of weeks, I will probably be heading up north to Oak Lawn to help my Grandmother when she returns home from the rehab nursing care. But, I will be back, so I was just curious if anyone is from Bloomington/Normal....I am a Four Seasons I gym rat, while occasionally taking a class at Four Seasons II.

I live in Indianapolis, but I've been there a few times for work. I'm an "offsite external associate" for what we must call "a large insurance company in Central Illinois". Can you guess which one?

On a side note, many, many years ago my father was a supervisor for "Standard Paving Company" (now defunct). He worked on the original construction of I74 and during that time my sister was born in Urbana!

Can't believe how much the area has grown over the years!

I love it here, I prefer it over Peoria, and there is so many parks and whatnot....But, I like the fact, if I wanted to get a little bit country, I don't have to go too far.....LoL, yeah, that Insurance company..heck they even have their own water park for their employees out here...I just want to try the lazy river in their just once!

That whole area of Oak Lawn, Burbank has become way too chaotic for me. I was up there a month ago, and I couldn't believe the amount of airplanes coming in and out of midway..And don't even get me started on Christ Hospital....

I'm from Mt. Zion, which is right outside of Decatur! I graduated from ISU in 03 too.
