Hi,
My mother referred me to this website so that I can hopefully feel better about myself. I have always been skinny and involved in multiple sports up until recently. I have had a knee injury that has kept me unable to run for about three years. My metabolism has finally started to slow down, and I have gained the freshman "15" and then some. I feel horrible about myself and I really want to start eating well and exercising as much as my schedule will allow. I seem to have a lot of down days so I hope I can get support from this site :D Thank you!

    This is a great place to come to get motivated to eat better and exercise.

    I know how depressing it can be when you are unable to go running like you used to. I was in a car accident a few years ago (a drunk driver hit me) that has kept me from running because of my back being injured.

    Just take one day at a time and you will be able to reach your goals.
