    Sorry MIA, been under the weather with allergies. Not exercising but trying to keep my intake under so not to gain.

    I am thankful for your encouragement & prayers. I just popped into the site just to read about our group for a few minutes and was amazed at the messages both on the thread and sent to me personally. It is soo kind of all you.

    I had a small victory today -- I put on mascara. Then driving into work I got into a panic thinking I am to be the master of ceremonies at an awards event tommorrow. I felt, well, still do, I can't face the public because of the injury I received.

    Later in the day I learned a higher upper management type is the master of ceremonies. So I breathed a sigh of relief.

    I greatly appreciate you lifting up me & my family in prayer.

    Still under the weather, not exercising but trying to watch intake.
    V- ate JIB myself last night and boy did it tear up my stomach too, I think when we go without fast food and decide to indulge our little tummy(haha) can't handle it.

    Well I decided to peak at the scale today and wish I did not. I may be gaining this week instead of loosing.:sad: I will have to over dose on water to see if it is just bloating. :sick: I have been working out more so I could be building muscle as well. I guess we shall see on friday.

    Oh yeah, Kelly I am doing Prevention Get Moving DVD, I did not feel like it did anything until a couple of days later, very sore, it has slowed my walking this week down, but it is good to know it is working

    I have only done 183 min. so far and I know I have been working hard but to gain is very discouraging. I am hoping it is just water weight, because if I gained 4 pounds this week I will be very up set. I cant see how I could gain that much, I am not over my calories, not eating sweets. eating all my veggies and fruit. But like you said I wont freak out until I see what Friday gives me. :grumble: :laugh:

    Small victories....
    I wore make-up today and two co-workers noticed.
    However I did get a migrane that caused some vision challenges. I havent had a migrane before so I was quite concerned.....

    Also I didn't have any one ask me about my face. Since Friday I've been dealing with questions on how did I get a bruise...... so a day w/o questions is a victory. Perhaps the make-up made the bruise less noticable.

    I do plan on stepping on a scale on Friday. Due to an unexpected appt back to the eye doctor, I was off of work for a few hours. Did manage to get a 30 minute curves workout.

    So just a few small victories that are getting me back to my normal self.

    I heard tail.......ya'll were missing me!

    So get me up to speed. I am essentially starting over as I have gained nearly all 21 pounds back while being in out.

    Well feeling a little better now, actually going to try and get to the gym tonight, it been way to long. LAST CHANCE WORKOUT PEOPLE !!!!

    hey green peppers!

    busy yesterday...spring-summer-fall-cleaned my bedroom since we got a new mattress. still need to put things away, and since it has been 13 yrs since i painted, gonna give it a fresh coat, then i can put my Uppercase Living words above our bed. I love that stuff! we put one above our dining room table too.

    this has been a horrible week for me eating and no exercise. can really tell too. need to get serious, and stop neglecting myself :bigsmile: am expecting a gain Fri, and am taking full resposibility for my mistakes.

    very rainy today and they say tomorrow too. gonna head to the city here soon for groceries, haircut and maybe nails, and college son may meet me for lunch...

    Jacque ~ i hope you are feeling better. i am still dealing with this throat gunk. and today my glands feel more swollen and throat more sore?? few kids sick on my bus, but not too bad yet...

    Miss V ~ hi there sweets :smile:

    Barb ~ this must be a difficult time for you.....you are showing much strength.....small steps, and soon this will all be behind you. i hope you have someone there you can talk to and if not, we peppers are always here hon! :flowerforyou: take care *hugs* :heart:

    sindy ~ the friendly scale.....hmmmm. i say, just move ahead and continue what you are doing. our wt fluctuates daily, and sometimes it is a frustration. your body could be adjusting to your new habits and just kinda thinking about what is happening to it. also, like Jenn, i think we can sometimes have a pattern after a while. look at how far you have come, and especially note all the positive changes you are now living by. i think that should be you main focus, and so, every day. i have faith in you and know you will contiune to lose. re the soreness, i too have the same problem after starting a new workout....and this is a yo-yo struggle for me. if i would just get a consistent routine and never stop, i would never have to be sore again....something i am trying to learn, and change. what helps me the most tho, is stretching really good after an aerobic workout when muscles are very warm, walking more,or taking a hot bath:bigsmile:

    crystal ~ same to you what i said to sindy....don't give up, you are doing the right things here. we usually all have weeks where we gain a little. just power thru this week and keep on keepin!! i know you can do it! :drinker:

    Miss Sass ~ hey there girly!! :smile: glad to have you here!! we are on week 5 of our newly formed/recruited Smokin' Hot Green Peppers! weigh in's are Friday and we have had some really good weekly challenges...water, fruit, veggies, exercise, 'me/meditation' time...... we are also currently doing a Team Workout challenge of 200 hrs between all of us. This ends the 25th, Sun...and we are hoping to meet it or PASS it! Hey, join us, we'd be happy to have you back and share this journey with us. we have missed you too!! :love:

    oh, i forgot to tell ya all bout my experience with our new bed. it is a Lebeda ( locally manufactured ) Heritage Firm. my dh has been complaining for many yrs that our bed is making his back (more) sore. our last mattress was 15 + yrs old, and no support, but in great condition otherwise. well, i was almost as excited as my dh to hit the hay last nite and was so hopeful for a great nites rest, since i had been lacking a few hrs each the past 2 nites. well, i woke around 2:30 with dh snoring, on his back, which is a huge plus for him, AND, a dripping noise on our outdoor window ledge....it was so LOUD :noway: i tossed and turned for about 25 minutes and soooo tried to fall asleep and spend the nite in my new bed....but i had to leave and ended up on our couch, thennnnnnnnnn listening to our girls (2 pugs) snoring in an adjacent room! so, didn't have the nite i expected, but i did seek out the 'dripping noise'....we have screeend gutter covers and leaves had fallen and piled up on one area, and since it was raining, they were stuck there:ohwell: so, maybe tonite i will enjoy my new bed, and i found my earplugs just in case! :bigsmile:

    Good Afternoon Pepper's,
    Well could not help it jumped back on the stupid scale again :grumble: and it was 2 pounds less than yesterday. got to stop looking in between weigh in. (maybe a challenge:laugh: )
    I was not going to go for my walk today, but it was so nice I did my 2.5 miles in 37 mins, still sore but I will not give up or give in. :drinker:
    I am glad everyone is doing well.
    Kelly hope you get a great night in your new bed, I really need a new bed, know what you mean mine is at least 15 years old or more not in the best shape but cant afford new one yet. soon very soon.

    Crystal hope your scale is better to you tomorrow. Keep your head up we can do this and move on. It is our health for life and the little ups and downs wont get us. :flowerforyou:

    Barb, you are doing great, and glad you had a better day. Hang in there.

    Kelly- Hope that your night goes better on the new bed tonight! Got us a new bed last year, and paid what i thought was an arm and a leg for it, but OH MY....... I never want to spend a night off the thing:) lol I:heart: my bed, wheneve my hubby is gone he always says "I can't wait to come home to sleep in the heaven bed"
    our bed it wonderful!
    Not as brave as the others I guess, by steping on the scale, in fear taht i might break it this week:noway: :bigsmile: not really but I have been going at a snail pace it seems.

    just checking in real quick before my shows start.....another bad day eating, and feeling so out of control....wth is wrong with me. i bet i am up 5 lbs from last week, that will be 10 lbs in 2 weeks :noway: eating for some other reason, and need to figure this w-h-y out?? tummy is bloated again....why, why why?? still waitin for aunt flo, guess it is gonna be a late one this month...and hope shorter too.... i dont mind those kind:bigsmile:

    sindy, our very first Green Team challenge back in January WAS a scale one. we could not get on it for a week.....i was able to do it, but it was so tough! ok with me if we do it again, just post so....or any other ideas!

    enjoy the rest of your Thurs folks.....yeah tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is here! Post your exercise minutes with weight and Sunday will be our last day to exercise for our 200 hour challenge! it's not too late to meet our goal!   • Good evening SHGP! Glad to see you back Sassie! :flowerforyou: Barb, you are in my prayers. Jackie, I hope you are feeling better. I am glad you remind us of our last chance work out. I am starting to get hungry more frequently now. I don't know if because I am pregnant or just stressed. I am struggling to keep it in check. I am trying to keep my weight gain in line by exercising. Soon I am going to have spend 24 hours a day at the gym, if I don't stop feeling hungry all the time. My husband is so paranoid about my pregnancy and the H1N1 flu, I am lucky he lets me leave the house. My husband has a mentally disabled son from his first marriage that was a genetic disorder from his ex-wife. We have full custody of our son and he is so afraid that we will end up with 2 disabled children. He doesn't think we can do it. I don't know how to make him understand that very thing will be as it is meant to be and that we can handle whatever the case maybe together. I am tired of trying to make him understand that everything will be ok. Why are men so frustrating??? I am sorry to rant. Thanks for letting me rant.     Hi Angie~ your hunger could be a couple of things, and being pregnant would be my 1st guess, plus, you are gettin in regular exercise. make sure you are eating all the calories needed while your baby grows each month....you might want to check with your Dr too about this....you pry are burning more calories just being pregnant. i think you have done great so far, not gaining. i think your dh is kinda being normal, be glad he is concerned, some men say nothing and that is stressful too. but i agree with you in that the dear Lord gives us only what we can handle. has he gone to dr appt's with you? maybe your Dr can reassure him things are progressing normal.....the next 5-6 mos will go faster than you think, and soon you will be blessed with a beautiful child. i am gettin so excited for you!!:flowerforyou: :heart:

    today's weight 164.4lb
    so I did lese from the previous week still not where I would like to be at but.... my family needs are more important.

    For week of 10/16 to 10/22, 170 minutes of exercise.

    Next week may not be a good eating or exercise week. I'll be traveling for work so you may not hear from me from Monday to Friday.
