Lol all I've seen about the food at PF Chang's is how they're the worst. High in fat, high in calories, and crazy amounts of sodium.

Avoid fried, avoid the ones doused in sauce and avoid breaded is what I'm thinking.

Here's an article about better options:

PF Changs is one of the worst places ever to go.

The only healthy thing there is the tap water and even thats questionable.

Hm, the other guys are probably right, but the lettuce wraps that are made of like chicken, water chesnuts, etc.. those are one of my favorite foods. I think it's an appetizer, but I'd just eat it for my entree... it can't be *too* bad, right.. lol.. maybe they are, I'm not sure.

Save your calories until dinner so you don't have to sweat it too much
  • they can make some changes to what you order so that it is less fattening. Try getting the friend rice (not fried though so really just rice) with firm tofu. Then you get veggies and rice and tofu. The tofu is really good. Don't get a dessert. Found out the banana one I loved is around 2500 calories so don't let the fruit fool you!

Egg Drop Soup -- really low in calories and high in flavor! Avoid empty carbs like rice and stick with small portions. Personally, I love PF Chang's so much that I just make a point of eating really light the rest of the day and plan on a little extra time at the gym :-)

The lettuce wraps are amazing and low-calorie... but alas... it is just an appetizer!

I've only eaten there once. It's expensive... why not just cut yourself a break for this one meal? Otherwise, I would suggest going to their website and looking for a nutritional menu and planning your meal based on that.

Yeah...its the 'healthy in disguise" syndrome...like any restaurant salad!

It sucks, but sometimes its worth eating and working extra hard to work it off!!

Yep. I agree... BUT... I still love them and would have some if I went since there isn't a PF Chang's anywhere near me.. it would be a few and far between thing for me.

I went a couple of weeks ago with family and scoped out the nutrition info online before heading out (I'm getting to a point where I won't go to establishments that do not have nutritional info posted somewhere). At that point I was only watching my calories, not my sodium, so I had the seared tuna app as my entree and had a cucumber side (it was essentially a sliced cucumber with sesame seeds and soy sause). The calories in the whole meal were relatively low. Hope it helps!

OOPS..I meant "UNhealthy in disguise". I hate when things that appear to be good for you are worse than having a cheeseburger and fries!
