10 minute solution yoga. It has different segments. You might want to check your local yoga studio, they might have some beginner workshops.

Bob Harper's Weight Loss Yoga - it's what got me started back in January when it was too cold outside to do anything. I fell in love with the dvd and with yoga! There are three different levels and you pick which ones you want to do each time, plus the startup and cooldown. I had never done yoga before!

Netflix has Sara Ivanhoe's Candlelight Yoga. It's very good for stretching and stress relief.

Take a beginner class from a real, live teacher. You will get help with proper form and alignment, and an overall more complete, and ultimately, fulfilling experience.

Yogaglo.com has a wide variety of classes, levels, durations, etc for $18 a month. Better yet, take a class. Nothing beats it!

If you have cable try checking out the On Demand workouts. I have Verizon at the moment and they have a couple short beginner videos.

If you have a Target where you live, they have some really good Gaiam yoga videos.
  • Before playing any kind of sport or before starting your routine exercise, you need to warm up your body. Our body muscles need to be flexible and our body should be ready for various moves or poses practiced at a yoga retreat. This is important because, without warming up your body, if you directly, start practicing some poses or moves, you will not be able to practice it with perfection. Not only this but you will also hurt yourself and injure your body muscles or tissues if not warmed up completely. Before gym exercises, you warm up your body, similarly before yoga asanas as well, you need to warm up your body.

I would recommend any Rodney Yee's yoga DVDs. That's what got me excited about yoga in a first place. Just do some sun salutations first and see how you like it. Make sure you get a strap and some blocks for stretching and support too. Hope this helps.

I use Yogatic and Doyogawithme on youtube. The quality is excellent, the ladies very pleasant, and you can choose from either full flows or targeted shorter practices.
