IPhone Vs. Droid

One last thought and I will get out of your thread. I am a minimalist. I hate a lot of clutter on my screen. iOS throws everything on the main screen. I prefer mine like this.

iPhone users who say 16gb is good. For a long trip can you save a movie to your phone? I have a couple of movies saved to my droid (a blessing for bored kids) and those take up a lot of room. 32gb sd card and 6gb internal storage is roomy.
...and quad-core processors are soon to be released for Android.
I know I have in the past... but I don't typically any more, because I use the iPad for that... yes, I am an Apple Junkie (though not the hard core "everything else is crap" militant type... it's just my preference)... But again, I don't keep music on my iPhone because I typically use Pandora to listen to music (thank you! unlimited data plan)..0 -
IPhone is a nice delicate (glass) device with nice software and if you like to smash your face against a device and have it do something that's the phone for you! If you are a Geek and like to mess around with your phone and you like the apps thing that Droid and others offer the android OS is for you. Or if you are very media (music, video, Xbox) Oriented and want a hassle free experience like the IPhone you can try the new Windows Phone
Best Device for each:
IPhone = IPhone (just pick a carrier & capacity)
Droid = Carrier Dependent T-Mobile = HTC One S, AT&T = HTC One X, Verizon = Galaxy Nexus, Sprint not sure they have a decent one
Windows Phone = Just make sure its a Nokia if you want the true IPhone look a like experience the hardware is second to none also depends on Carrier but the Best one is on AT&T = Nokia Lumia 900
** I personally own a Windows Phone because music is what drives me! I have had plenty of experience with IPhone and also have an Android Tablet **
In the end its what works best for you (unless your a fan-boy.. then you'll just buy one just cause LoL!!)0 -

I like Droid or Windows myself. The slow speeds, planned obsolescence, forced upgrades, and hitchy keyboard functions of the iPhone put my off, outside of not liking Apple at all since they took away my ability to program them. I know people that have Siri and love it, but I'd rather not get my gratification from a $400 device that I have to pay an extra $100 a month to use properly. That's what people are for.
For Droid devices, just make sure you get the highest tech specs you can afford, and get one that is running ICS. If you want something bigger, the hybrids, half tablet, half phone, might be for you instead.0 -
I have an iphone and I love it, I haven't had any problems with it, but my roommate has a droid and she has problems with it all the time. Sometimes she can't answer her calls, or she will have to take the battery out all the time to re-start it or it will freeze on her. So my vote would be for an iphone!! Good luck!0

I love my iPhone 4.... But I've Been hearing ppl say they have been having interal annteni problems,, plus I know two ppl that had to get their iPhones replaced because of that problem. Ya any phone can have problems but with apple products when something goes wrong you have to call apple and it's a huge pain,, then u have to put a huge amount of money up front for them to hold onto so you can do the replacement trade!!!! But other then that go apple and iPhones,, they are amazing!!!0

I love love love Apple products in general, but I had an iPhone and ended up losing it. I now have a new Moto Razr and absolutely LOVE this phone!!! I won't get an iPhone again unless they really change some things like the lack of a spot for a memory card, iCloud or no.0

This isn't true. You can upgrade and retain unlimited data.0 -
For the record......my android phone doesn't have an SD Card slot......And I think it is the best one out.0

I love my Samsung Galaxy S2. Bigger screen with SD card slot. So I can have All my Insanity, P90X, Asylum and Bunches of Jillian Michaels on my 32GB card. LOVED IT!
By the way, I'm on the road in a hotel 5 days/week. Having these DVDs on my phone with the bluetooth headset is a lifesaver.0 -
I just got a new macbook pro and currently have a droid. When I upgrade in the fall I will be getting an iPhone. I want my computer and phone to communicate well with each other.0

I have an iPhone and have upgraded for some time each device. While the iPhone is easy to use, good apps and reliable, I'm just not impressed with it anymore compared to the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. The Note is even better than the iPhone.
My next phone will be a Skyrocket or the new Galaxy.
Now, I don't think you could go wrong with either device. Hit your store up and just play with multiple phones for a while. Run some programs, open some apps (your daily ones) and see which one looks better, reacts faster and is to your liking.0 -

Well at least you found out before you lost it... I found out the hard way (via text message really) telling me I was close to my data limit) by AT&T that I lost my unlimited data plan (I hadn't even upgraded yet, they just yanked it)... We switched over to sprint... so while we have a slower network, it also seems more reliable.0 -
I prefer android phones.0

I have had 2 droids and I like them fine but i also have a lot of issues with forced closes and apps not connecting. I am going to try an iPhone next.0

Android by far. I have the Galaxy Note and it's freaking awesome. It has expandable memory, a huge screen that is perfect for internet browsing, big enough to be an e reader, and does everything I need it to do.
I have an I pod touch that is completely obsolete now. The screen is TINY and is a nightmare for texting, watching you tube, browsing the internet, etc. Once you look at a bigger screen, you will be hooked.
That said, if the note is too big for you (which I could see it being for some people), look at the Galaxy S2 or upcoming S3.
People who are having problems with their android phones: stick with the flagship ones. There are a million phones that use the droid OS and thus a million crappy phones. The good ones don't have these issues.0 -
